Dan's passion for "Communicating Christ Creatively" is seen in his life, ministry and family. During his time as the chairman of the communication program, his desire was to incorporate technology into the communication process in such a way that it is was not obtrusive or distracting from the message of the Bible. ÌýBuilding on his past experience at Lancaster Bible College and his ministry at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, he brought a practical approach to the concept of incorporating technology that challenged students to “Communicate Christ Creatively.Ìý Now retired after 28 years of leading the Communication Department at CIU, Dan continues to pursue the challenges associated with the evolution of technology and its impact on the world and the Word of God.
Dan is married to Lanie, and they have two daughters, a son-in-law and two wonderful grandkids.
